Online & Instore Purchase Delivery of Your Mattress, Bedhead and Bed Base

The way you receive your mattress, ensemble and bed head are extremely important to us.  We have partnered with SleepMaker to simplify the process and provide you with two home delivery services to suit your needs. 

1. MAKE IT EASY – DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

SleepMaker’s Dream Team will deliver and install your new bed (base and bedhead if applicable) to your preferred room, relocate your existing mattress or ensemble* to a different room within your home and dispose of any packaging when they are finished.

2. MAKE IT SPECIAL – DELIVERY, INSTALLATION & REMOVAL OF YOUR OLD BED

The Dream Team will deliver and install your new bed to your preferred room, dispose of any packaging and remove your old mattress or ensemble* when they depart.  (Please note, an additional $40.00 removal fee is applicable if you choose this removal service).  *See Scope of Service section.

Delivery Timeframe

In general, depending on the location of your premises, you can expect to have your products delivered to you within 14 days.

Price & Payment

All Kerfird mattresses are free from any additional delivery fees, ie., your purchase price includes this service.

Delivery Process & Communication

A. Prior to Delivery

The SleepMaker Dream Team will contact you on the next business day after your purchase to discuss the delivery of your new SleepMaker bed. From a selection of available delivery dates, they will establish the best date for you and provide you with a two hour delivery window.

To ensure that the delivery and installation process goes as smoothly as possible for you, they will ask you a few simple questions about the delivery and about your property to establish if there are any obstacles they should be aware of.

On the day before your delivery, a SleepMaker Dream Team Member will be in contact with you to confirm the delivery window. If you have any questions about your delivery or require a change in the time or date of your delivery, the SleepMaker Dream Team will be happy to help you.

B. On The Day if Delivery

The SleepMaker Dream Team will contact you when they are 30 minutes away from your home.

Two Dream Team Members will deliver and install your new bed.   They’ll be easily identifiable by their SleepMaker Dream Team uniforms and name badges. They will show you their SleepMaker Dream Team photo ID and will ask you to show them where you would like your new bed to be set up and if necessary, where you would like your old mattress or ensemble be relocated to.

They will also ask you to check that the bed matches your order (model and size). If at this time it turns out that there are unexpected obstacles at the place of delivery then the Dream Team will discuss this with you.

Please note, each SleepMaker Dream Team Member has passed a rigorous screening process (including a police check) so you can rest assured your installation is being carried out professionally. On completion of installation a photo will be taken of your installed bed. It is important that you check your new bed is free of any damage. 

All purchasers must complete the ‘Proof of Delivery’ documentation.

What you need to do, in preparation of the delivery:

  • Ensure there is a clear access way for the Dream Team Members and their delivery trolleys to all bedrooms they’ll be visiting. This includes putting away or moving valuables and ornaments or other items that could be in the way and having your driveway clear of cars and trailers.
  • Please put down floor protection if necessary for your home (particularly if you have wooden floors).

  • Please have removed all bed linen, pillows and other items from your old bed.
  • If you have not heard from a SleepMaker Dream Team Member within 48 hours after you have made your purchase, have any questions or need to change your delivery time or date, please contact us as soon as possible.

It is Important you note the following:

Unattended Premises

The SleepMaker Dream Team will not deliver to premises that are unattended under any circumstances.  If someone is unable to sign for your delivery it will be taken back to the warehouse.  A SleepMaker Dream Team Member will call you to arrange a new delivery time and discuss any additional costs associated with your second delivery.

Recipients must be over 18 years old

A responsible person over the age of 18 must be available to escort the SleepMaker Dream Team into your home and sign for your delivery.

* Scope of Service:

The SleepMaker Dream Team will only relocate your existing mattress or an ensemble made up of a mattress and standard ensemble mattress base.  They will not relocate other bedroom furniture, headboards or other items – for example they will not dismantle and/or move slat beds or metal framed beds. It is your responsibility to move such items prior to their arrival.

We respect the health and safety of the SleepMaker Dream Team.  All members of the team are unable to:

  • remove their safety footwear
  • deliver your old Mattress/ Ensemble to another address
  • remove doors or other fixtures
  • lift any heavy items over obstructions or through windows to complete the delivery
  • move furniture or other items

Delivery & Delayed Installation

The SleepMaker Dream Team can only perform the installation at the same time as the delivery. A split delivery and installation on another day is not possible.

Bed linen, Mattress Protectors, Quilts and Pillows are available for purchase in store only.

All instore purchases of these products, will be required to be taken by the customer at the time of purchase.
